The Scooches -Nick Russo and Betina Hershey – perform original Americana music infused with global folk, early 20th century and the flair of New Orleans. They honor the great American songbook while exhibiting the multi-cultural breadth of modern collectives such as Lake Street Dive, Our Native Daughters, and Carolina Chocolate Drops. Recent performances include ISIS Music Hall, Asheville NC, Historic Earle Theater, Charles & Myrtle’s Coffeehouse, Crimson Moon, Pocahontas Opera House.
